Mary Ellen and Ziggi
A friggin' fantastic day. Brunch weddings should be more of a thing! Who doesn't love mimosas and frittatas?!
We started the morning at the Broadview hotel with Mary-Ellen and her best friend/maid of honour. It was a super relaxed morning (my favourite kind), with a few family friends before we made our way to distillery district where we had the first look with Ziggy.
It was around 9am, so we basically had the whole distillery district to ourselves, which never happens!!! It was a perfect, warm, sunny morning and we spent 30 minutes gallivanting together for their portraits.
All the guests arrived and the beautiful couple said I do while their guests got to enjoy coffee and mimosas.
One of my favourite things that Mary-Ellen and Ziggy did throughout the day was stop the action and allow themselves to take a mental picture to make sure they remembered each moment (it was just so cute). Perhaps the most moving moment was just before their first kiss Ziggy stopped, took pause, and took a mental picture of Mary-Ellen.
I can't stress enough how wonderfully relaxed the whole day was. In fact, even the day before Mary-Ellen wasn't sure what she was going to wear. What a breath of fresh air!
To more brunch weddings!!!
